Author Biographies

Hilde Brox, University of Tromsø

Hilde Brox, Cand. Philol., works as an English lecturer at the Department of Teacher Education and Pedagogy at Tromsø University. She is presently working on a PhD project concerning uses of wikis and Wikipedia in Teacher Education. Her research interests include collaborative writing, visual literacy, multimodal texts and the use of web 2.0 tools in teaching and learning.

Roswitha Skare, University of Tromsø

Roswitha Skare er professor i dokumentasjonsvitenskap ved Institutt for kultur og litteratur, Universitetet i Tromsø. Hennes forskningsinteresser er dokumentteori og paratekstens betydning i litteratur og film. Hennes nyeste publikasjoner er artiklene ”Nanook of the North (1922) – en reise etter den autentiske utgaven” i antologien Reiser og ekspedisjoner i det litterære Arktis(2011) og ”Das Leben der Anderen (2006): Paratekstens betydning for filmens autentisitetskrav” i Norsk medietidsskrift (2012).

Holger Pötzsch, University of Tromsø

Holger Pötzsch, PhD, works at the Department of Culture and Literature at Tromsø University (UiT) where he is associated with the Border Culture and DOMINO research groups. Pötzsch’s field of research includes discourse theory, war film and memory, war and the media, and the discursive construction of borders and boundaries in, and through, cultural expressions. He currently works on a project that focuses on liminal aspects in the work of Norwegian filmmaker Knut Erik Jensen.
