View Vol. 53 No. 2 (2025): Non-Western and Decolonial Philosophy

In this special issue of Nordlit, we focus on non-Western and decolonial philosophy, thereby challenging Eurocentric philosophy and the history of philosophy. The special issue, which consists of eight articles, has its starting point in the conference "Non-Western and Decolonial Philosophy" that took place at the University of Tromsø - The Arctic University of Norway in October 2024. The interdisciplinary conference, organized by the research network in feminist philosophy (FemPhil), brought together important voices from various institutions in Norway that in one way or another connect to non-Western and/or decolonial philosophy in their research. Several fields were represented, such as religious studies, history of ideas, gender studies, social anthropology, and philosophy.
