Fauskevåg 2 is a Stone Age settlement dated to approximately 8000–8200 BC. The site likely represents a short-term stay by a small group. The distribution of finds on the site suggests that a tent was set up on the surface, with a hearth.
The material indicates a focus on blade production using pressure flaking techniques. The blades were used, among other things, to produce microliths and drills.
