BAKGRUNN:Circle of Security (COS), eller Trygghetssirkelen, er flere intervensjoner som er utviklet for å fremme god tilknytning mellom foreldre og barn. Intervensjonene retter seg primært mot foreldrenes evne til å forstå og respondere på barnets grunnleggende behov for trygghet, tilhørighet og autonomi, og tiltaket kan dermed fremme barnets trygghetsfølelse og selvforståelse.
Denne kunnskapsoppsummeringen vurderer Circle of Security Intensive intervention (COS-I), som er et terapeutisk tiltak rettet mot familier med moderat og høy risiko. I Norge driftes tiltaket av Tilknytningspsykologene i samarbeid med Circle of Security International i USA.
Denne kunnskapsoppsummeringen bygger på et systematisk litteratursøk i databasene Embase, Medline og PsykINFO, Cochrane, NORA, SweMed+, Campbell, NICE, Blueprint, CEBC, Metodguiden, CINAHL, Google Scholar og EIF. Det er også innhentet informasjon om tiltaket fra tiltakseier. Litteratursøk og annen innhentet informasjon ble gjennomgått for å identifisere nordiske effektstudier, internasjonale oppsummeringsstudier og eventuelt andre norske studier om tiltaket.
RESULTATER:Resultatene består av en vurdering av tiltakets beskrivelse, foreliggende studier og beskrivelse av implementeringsrutiner. COS-I vurderes som et godt beskrevet tiltak med god teoretisk for-ankring. Det finnes ingen nordiske effektstudier på tiltaket, men internasjonale kunnskapsopp-summeringer antyder positive effekter i flere uavhengige studier med pre-post design. Studiene gir ikke sikker kunnskap om tiltaket er virksomt, men det er indikasjon på at COS-I kan fremme trygg tilknytning.
KONKLUSJON:COS-I klassifiseres på evidensnivå 3 som et tiltak med noe dokumentasjon på effekt.
