About the Journal
The journal accepts submissions from all disciplines and subject areas with a particular interest in the humanities, artscience and other cross-disciplinary research from employees or affiliated staff at UiT The Arctic University of Norway.
This journal publishes creative materials such as exhibitions, installations, pieces of short fiction, poems, music, digital art, software, scores, blueprints, and/or other visionary outputs or complementary materials to research published elsewhere.
This journal will contain various results from research, development, methods, approaches, teaching, innovation, mobility, outreach, creative administration, interventions, and more. The journal will be wild. By this, we mean that it will evolve over time in dynamic interaction with its contributors and the material submitted.
Review criteria will be developed over time and communicated via the journal website. We are hoping to explore, play with, and potentially invent new and creative publishing and review processes, corresponding with the creative publications the journal is seeking to be a platform for.
The publications can be screened, responded to, or (open) peer reviewed. The review format will be announced below the abstract.
Authors are welcome to suggest potential reviewers/respondents/discussion partners for their submissions. The journal follows the COPE guidelines on publication ethics.
The author(s) maintain full responsibility and accountability for the content. The journal will promote accessibility and universal design. Guest editing of journal issues is possible and encouraged – please get in touch with us with your ideas.
All content will be screened for plagiarism and other ethical concerns by the editorial board. However, it remains the responsibility of the author(s) to ensure that submissions contain no plagiarism, and follow the appropriate ethical guidelines for the discipline(s).
We recommend the following standards for research ethics: https://www.forskningsetikk.no/retningslinjer/
The content may be in any format: text, video, audio etc. Creative will make attempts to accommodate all file formats or support links to repositories.
