Abstract

The cruise KB 2018616 aboard the Research Vessel Kristine Bonnevie was the first research cruise of the Nansen Legacy project. The cruise aimed at collecting ocean stratification, currents, and microstructure profiles along selected transects across the Spitsbergen shelf and slope, thus providing the background for the Kronprins Haakon cruise scheduled in late September 2018. This report provides an overview of the methods employed and the data collected during KB 2018616.
