Abstract

Why is it important that Senior Scientists engage themselves in Open Science and particularly Open Data? Lars Figenschou, biologist and Academic Librarian at the University Library at UIT - The Arctic University in Norway, explains why. In addition, he gives us some good tips on how to create a program at the University that secures valuable data. The host of this episode is Erik Lieungh.

Lars Figenschou, UiT The Arctic University of Norway

Dr. Lars Figenschou is a senior research librarian at UiT the Arctic University of Norway. He is responsible for biology, mathematics and statistics at the Science and Health Library. Before this, he worked with communication, relations, signals and behaviour. His Phd project and research training focused on sexual selection in an evolutionary perspective.

Erik Lieungh is a digital adviser at the University Library and the host and editor of Open Science Talk.
