Author Guidelines

The material published in Septentrio Conference Series must be web accessible. If you upload files to be published along with your abstracts (poster PDFs, presentation slides, papers), please run Accessibility Check on the files you submit.

The technical process of submission is described in this user manual for the software Open Journal Systems. In addition, conferences that publish their material in Septentrio Conference Series may have specific guidelines for abstracts and files on their websites.

Abstracts should not exceed 300 words.

Submission Preparation Checklist

All submissions must meet the following requirements.

  • The References list includes DOI-numbers for those references that have them.
  • When uploading conference materials, make sure that any IP issues regarding third-party material have been cleared prior to submission.
  • Informative (non-decorative) images in conference materials must have Alt text.

Authors who publish with this series agree to the following terms:

  • Authors retain copyright and grant the journal right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License that allows others to share the work with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in this journal.
  • Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
