1997 diploma in Social Science (Georg-August-University Göttingen) with main focus on media and communication studies. 1998 to 2001 Scientific assistant at the „Zentrum für Interdisziplinäre Medienwissenschaft“ (ZiM). Workfield: Coordination, Curriculum- Developement, public relations, course guidance service. Afterwards coordinator of the „Notebook-University“ – project which emphases on knowledge management via internet. Founder member of the „Stud.IP“ core-group (open sorce eLearning Software, www.studip.de). Since January 2005 director of the „Göttinger Digitization Center“ (GDZ) at the SUB.
