Conferences: 14th Arctic Ungulate Conference in Røros, Norway 16 – 21 August 2015

The 2nd Reindeer and Caribou Symposium was hosted in Røros, Norway, back in 1979, and it will therefore be quite natural for the 2015-conference to include both retrospective and proactive elements. The main theme for this conference will be "Arctic Ungulate Research and Management: The past, the Present and the Future".

Main organizers of the conference will be the Norwegian Environment Agency and the Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA), with several co-organizers.

Next announcement with call for papers and posters along with a conference website is planned to be published in the early autumn 2014. The conference will tentatively be open for registration on 1st October 2014. The Rangifer announcement will be updated accordingly.
