Conferences: Updated Information 14th Arctic Ungulate Conference in Røros, Norway 16 – 21 August 2015
First announcement and call for abstracts
The Norwegian Environment Agency and Norwegian Institute for Nature Research (NINA) are pleased to announce the 14th International Arctic Ungulate Conference. The conference will be held at Røros Hotel from 16th – 21th August, 2015. The venue Røros is a picturesque old mining town in the mountains of central Norway, with status as a UNESCO World heritage site.
The conference, which is held every four years, will focus on all aspects of wild reindeer/caribou, semidomestic reindeer/reindeer husbandry and muskox. Please visit the conference website for more information about suggested main topics and general information about the conference.
Interested authors are encouraged to submit abstracts from both completed and ongoing research projects, review articles and management topics. Abstracts, limited to a maximum of 250 words, can be submitted via internet link on the conference website only.
Deadline for abstract submission is 15 April 2015.
